Anna Bartsch is a historian and educator specializing in gender studies, wartime experiences, and global history. Her research focuses on women’s experiences during wartime, particularly sexual violence in occupied territories, as well as gender studies and the history of enslavement. Additionally, she teaches English as a Second Language and Global Issues at EF International Campus in Tarrytown.
Her academic work explores gender studies—especially the history and politics of sex work—and the history of enslavement.
Anna has contributed a book review on The Driving System published in the New England Journal of History.
