About
Dr. Ramjit is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ University. She is also the faculty advisor for the Undergraduate Psychology Club and a graduate of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ University.
Dr. Ramjit teaches a variety of undergraduate psychology courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Statistics for Social and Behavioral Sciences, and others. She is very committed to her students’ learning and success.
Dr. Ramjit’s research interest is grounded in Vygotsky’s theory of cultural tool use. Her research has focused on understanding how both traditional and non-traditional college freshmen use stress as a cultural tool to navigate their college transition and experiences. STEM research collaboration focuses on how different types of support impact students’ engagement in higher education.
